LearnWorlds is on a mission to educate. Our all-in-one platform empowers online trainers, educators and enterprises to create unique, interactive, and social learning experiences. A fully customizable, white-label solution to train employees and associates, educate customers or sell online courses to a wide audience.

We enable our users to create whole e-learning websites, author online courses, and provides the tools to market & sell them both as B2B and B2C products. We have done this through the creation of a cloud based e-learning platform that can be tailored to the users specific needs. Much more than just selling online courses, we have created everything required for a holistic and complete online learning experience.

Today, LearnWorlds has c.5,000 customers in more than 120 countries with 40% of them coming from the US. Our headquarters are in Limassol, Cyprus, and we have offices in Chania, Greece, however over 90% of the 98-member team is fully remote. With the latest funding, the company plans to double the number of its current employees and reach 170 full-time employees in 2022 by hiring more international talent beyond Greece whilst opening an office in Athens.

Reflective of growing activity in the ed-tech sector, LearnWorlds has recently secured a $32m investment from Insight Partners, a world-class VC firm, with a view to boost customer success, accelerate the marketing function and build out the customer base, with a focus on SMBs.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced technical marketing professional with proven skills in marketing technology research, implementation, integration, project management and analysis.

The ideal candidate for this position has deep technical experience across marketing tech stacks and full-stack capability in the code that drives modern marketing. This position will own the technical implementation of scripts, tracking and attribution from dark-funnel through revenue. As a core member of the marketing operations team, this position will partner across the wider organization to ensure that marketing is properly instrumented for acquisition as well as retention and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Apply a blend of programming skill, analytical thinking, data analysis and digital marketing expertise to make change happen by automating and scaling our digital marketing activities
  • Write scripts that use APIs from our marketing platforms to automate campaigns, build tools to scale activity more efficiently and automate campaign testing/experimentation
  • Build, test, and launch marketing technology architecture and capabilities that are based on industry best practices
  • Analyse and report on impact, efficiency and opportunities for optimisation within our digital marketing portfolio
  • Document key platform tech stack processes and procedures as they develop and evolve
  • Scope for working to expand our execution options by building up new capabilities in existing channels, testing platform functionality and setting up entirely new platforms
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot technical marketing challenges and create custom best-fit solutions
  • Integrate marketing technology platforms and tools across the GTM stack
  • Build, test, and manage API connections and scripting solutions
  • Perform data privacy and compliance reviews of marketing technology products
  • Document key MarTech processes and procedures as they develop and evolve
  • Train and support marketing staff on using marketing technology product

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in technical marketing operations and development
  • Experience working with API integrations
  • Fluency in SQL, HTML, CSS, and PHP
  • A strong command of CRM and marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce or similar tools
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional collaboration and technical aptitude, having worked with highly complex processes and a large MarTech stack
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA
  • Previous experience in MarTech roles
  • Digital marketing domain expertise
  • Proficient in marketing architecture
  • Programming skills, ideally PHP
  • Commercially minded analytical thinking
  • Hands on experience setting up campaigns in ad platforms
