We have offices in Athens, Crete, and Limassol.

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Social Media Manager to lead LearnWorlds’ social media strategy in order to scale our brand awareness, as well as boost customer engagement & advocacy. As an experienced solid professional you will optimize our performance in the existing channels and orchestrate our expansion in additional channels & communities, always in line with the company’s mission and branding.

With presence in the top social media platforms and over 70k followers, you will be responsible for creating original content, repurposing existing content, collaborating with the design team to create visual content (images, video), as well as day-to-day social media & community management. You will report to the Head of Brand Marketing & Communities and will be in direct cooperation with several teams (Customer Support, Customer Success, Business Insights), based on need.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage an Organic Social Media strategy for LearnWorlds that aligns with the established business goals.
    • Discover, engage, and partner with existing communities in the creator and passion economy space in order to increase our brand awareness. Examples include Reddit communities, Slack communities, Facebook & LinkedIn Groups.
    • Create and implement a community strategy for our owned community, aiming to boost brand awareness and advocacy, with the end goal to create more upsell opportunities.
    • Moderate and capture user-generated content within the influencer community and build that content into the local social media strategy. Identify and liaise with relevant influencers, negotiating fair rates for content, and ensuring the relevant agreements are in place.
    • Define and deploy with the different internal stakeholders and the Head of Brand Marketing & Communities, the approach to Employee Social Media Advocacy.
    • Engage with our followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor social user reviews as well as brand mentions.
    • Set specific objectives, monitor social media KPIs, and report on campaign efficiency.
  • Exercise knowledge across various types of social media channels to ensure we’re getting the most bang for our buck amongst the audiences we’re seeking to attract.
    • Perform research on current industry (Employee Training, Customer Education, and Course Creation) trends and audience preferences.
    • As part of our Brand Marketing & Communities Department & aligned with the Design team set a creative vision and produce amazing and engaging social content, all while building-in a test-and-learn mentality to ensure we’re constantly driving towards the most effective, innovative creative for our target audiences.
    • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media and relevant applications.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years work experience as a Social Media Manager: Proven experience in building an integrated social media strategy across organic, and across channels, and how they can work together to achieve objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B marketing. Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS company or advertising agency is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, objectives, algorithms and asset types.
  • Experience working with Social Media Communities.
  • A storyteller at heart.
  • Outstanding creativity, as well as copywriting and briefing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
  • Comfortable and excited to be one of the LearnWorlds brand ambassadors (create interviews, host events, lives), as well as enable our LearnWorlds team to become Social ambassadors.
  • Intellectual curiosity and thought leader on the latest and greatest in social media.

Nice-to-have

    • Experience in Influencer Marketing / UGC projects.
    • Hands-on experience in Content Management.
    • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
    • Knowledge of online marketing channels.
    • Analytical and reporting skills.
    • BSc degree in Marketing, Media or relevant field.
    • Ability to deliver creative and visual appealing multimedia content briefs (text, image, and video).
    • Exposed to Content Specialist/ Copywriter/PR Specialist roles.
