Payment Methods
Let learners pay in installments with the Afterpay LMS integration
Get paid in full upfront while learners pay in installments, with the Afterpay LMS integration running through your Stripe account.

TL;DR
The Afterpay integration lets buyers spread the cost of a course or bundle. Learners pay a smaller first installment, and you still receive the full amount upfront.

Ease price concerns. Learners split the cost while you get the full amount upfront

Skip extra billing setup. Required billing details switch on when you activate Afterpay

Avoid payment page confusion. Ineligible learners see a tooltip on the disabled option
Afterpay appears as an option on your LMS checkout once you turn it on in Stripe and in LearnWorlds.
Best for: course creators who sell higher-priced courses or bundles to buyers in Afterpay countries.
Available on all paid plans. Works for domestic sales in your Stripe country’s currency only.

What teams ask before connecting
Is Afterpay available in my country, or are there geographic restrictions?
There are restrictions. Afterpay covers customers in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. It also covers the UK, where it’s called Clearpay, and the US. Sales must be domestic, so the learner pays from your Stripe account’s country in its local currency.
Do I need a separate Afterpay account or does this work through my existing Stripe account?
It works through your Stripe account. You turn on Afterpay/Clearpay as a payment method in your Stripe Dashboard, then turn it on in LearnWorlds. The LearnWorlds setup steps don’t include creating an Afterpay account. If your Stripe country isn’t supported, the option won’t be available to activate in LearnWorlds.
