What teams ask before connecting
Is iDEAL only available in the Netherlands, or can other schools turn it on?
The help article sets no country rule for your school. It needs Stripe as your payment gateway and Euro as your school currency. iDEAL itself is a Netherlands-based payment method run by the scheme all major Dutch banks belong to.
Do I need to turn on iDEAL in Stripe before it appears in LearnWorlds?
Yes. Turn on iDEAL under Settings > Payment methods in Stripe, read the Terms of Use and iDEAL Addendum, and click Turn On. Then turn it on under Settings > Financial > Payment Gateway in LearnWorlds.
Does iDEAL require Euro as the school currency?
Yes. iDEAL only works with Euro, so set your school currency to Euro under Settings > Financial > Currency before you turn it on.
How to set up the LearnWorlds and iDEAL integration
You need Stripe connected as your payment gateway and Euro as your school currency. At the end, iDEAL shows on your payment pages.
Turn on iDEAL in Stripe
In your Stripe Dashboard, go to Settings > Payment methods and turn on iDEAL. Requires: Stripe connected as your LearnWorlds payment gateway.
Accept the iDEAL terms
Read the Terms of Use and the iDEAL Addendum, then click Turn On in the modal.
Set your currency to Euro
In LearnWorlds, open Settings > Financial > Currency and set your school currency to Euro.
Turn on iDEAL in LearnWorlds
