Watch heatmaps and session recordings of your LearnWorlds school with the Hotjar LMS integration. Spot where users get stuck in your courses and adjust what isn’t working.
TL;DR

Stop guessing which sections get attention. Heatmaps show clicks, scrolls, and mouse movement
Swap assumptions for evidence. Replay sessions to see where users struggle in your courses
Ask users directly. Collect feedback on specific pages, lessons, or quizzes
Best for: School admins who want to see how users move through course and landing pages.

What teams ask before connecting
Do learners need to accept cookies before Hotjar starts recording?
Only if your school uses data privacy settings. With those settings on, users must accept analytics cookies before Hotjar collects data. With no data privacy settings configured, cookies are accepted by default and users don’t need to do anything.
We need more granular learner behavior data. Can Hotjar capture what happens inside a course?
Hotjar shows how users interact with your course pages. Heatmaps show which parts get the most attention, and recordings show where users run into trouble navigating your courses. You can also ask users about specific pages, lessons, or quizzes with Hotjar’s feedback tools.

Who uses the Hotjar integration and how
School admins fixing confusing course navigation
Admins replay sessions to see where users get stuck moving through a course. They adjust the navigation instead of guessing what went wrong.
School admins reworking landing pages
Admins check heatmaps to see if visitors click the Enroll Now button. If they don’t, they rework the page and compare heatmaps after the change.
School admins refining lessons with user feedback
Admins add a Hotjar feedback tool to a lesson or quiz page and ask users about it. They use the answers to refine the content.
