Live Sessions

Host live classes from your courses with the Webex LMS integration

Schedule Webex meetings as course activities and track attendance in LearnWorlds. The Webex integration lets enrolled learners open live sessions from the course player.

TL;DR

The Webex LMS integration turns Webex meetings into course activities. Learners open sessions from the course, and you track attendance in LearnWorlds instead of a spreadsheet.

Stop emailing Webex links. Enrolled learners open sessions from the course player

Replace attendance spreadsheets with a user progress report you can export

Skip password setup. Webex generates one when you leave it blank

Best for: trainers and course creators who already run live sessions on Webex.

Available on Pro Trainer and above. Multiple Webex accounts and instructor accounts need Learning Center or above.

What teams ask before connecting

Is Webex natively integrated with LearnWorlds, or does it require a third-party connector?

It’s a native integration with no connector needed. Activate Webex under Settings > Integrations > Live Sessions and connect your account. Webex meeting then becomes an activity type in your courses.

Is attendance tracked in LearnWorlds when a learner joins a Webex session?

Yes. The User Progress page for each Webex activity shows whether and when each learner joined, plus their status. Data comes from the course player, and you can mark sessions completed manually or export the report as CSV or XLS.

Do instructors need their own Webex accounts, or can multiple instructors share one?

They can share. Once you connect a Webex account, you can assign it to some or all instructors. On Learning Center or above you can also connect several accounts or let instructors connect their own, which don’t show in the admin dashboard.

Training teams sharing one Webex account

Connect one Webex account and assign it to every instructor who teaches live. Instructors schedule Webex meetings in their own courses without each connecting a separate account.

Academies tracking live class attendance

Learners open each Webex class from the course player. Admins export the attendance report as CSV or XLS instead of collecting names by hand.
