Is Bancontact available for all LearnWorlds plans or only specific ones?
Yes, it’s available on all paid plans, Starter included. Bancontact runs through Stripe, so you also need Stripe connected.
Do I need to turn on Bancontact in Stripe before it appears in LearnWorlds?
Yes. Turn it on in Stripe under Settings > Payment methods, then confirm the Terms of Use and Bancontact Addendum. After that, turn it on in LearnWorlds under Settings > Financial > Payment Gateway, and your payment pages include Bancontact.
Does this only work with Euro as the school currency?
Yes. Bancontact works only with Euro, so set your school currency to Euro in Settings > Financial > Currency. It also supports one-off payments only, not payment plans or subscriptions.
How to set up the LearnWorlds and Bancontact integration
You need Stripe connected and a school currency set to Euro. At the end, your payment pages include Bancontact.
1. Open Stripe payment methods
In Stripe, open Settings > Payment methods. Requires: a Stripe account connected to your school.
2. Turn on Bancontact in Stripe
Turn on Bancontact, read the Terms of Use and Bancontact Addendum, and click Turn on in the modal.
3. Set your currency to Euro
In LearnWorlds, open Settings > Financial > Currency and set your school currency to Euro.
4. Turn on Bancontact in LearnWorlds
