Pull school data
Pull course, user, and bundle information from your school. The API also covers subscriptions and promotions, plus payments and certifications.
Generate client credentials
Click Request API keys and your Client ID and Client Secret appear automatically.
Create and revoke tokens
Create new access tokens, check each one’s status and expiration date, and revoke any you no longer need.
Regenerate keys when needed
Regenerate your API keys and copy the API URL from the same screen.
What teams ask before connecting
What can the API do? Is it read-only, or can it also create and enroll users?
It can do both. Besides reading course, user, and payment data, the API can create and update users, enroll and unenroll them from products, update user tags, and suspend accounts. The LearnWorlds developer documentation lists the available endpoints.
Can we manage user roles through the API?
Yes. The API can read a user’s role and update it, and it can list the user groups a user belongs to.
How to set up the LearnWorlds API integration
Request your keys and create a token from your school settings. You end with a Client ID, a Client Secret, and an access token for API calls.
1. Open API settings
Open Settings > Developers > API.
2. Request API keys
Click Request API keys.
3. View your credentials
Click Show to view your Client ID and Client Secret.
4. Copy your credentials
Click Copy to copy each value.
5. Copy the API URL
Copy the API URL.
6. Create an access token
