Is this a native integration or does it require Zapier?
It’s native. You activate it under Settings > Integrations > Email integrations and paste your Moosend API key. The setup has no Zapier step.
Which LearnWorlds events can trigger a Moosend automation?
Registration creates the contact, and newsletter signups create leads. With auto-tagging on, enrollments and course completions add tags, as do certificates and purchases. Free previews of paid courses and tags you add in LearnWorlds can also apply a tag.
Does data sync in real time or on a delay?
In real time. Users and changes to their data sync to Moosend automatically as they happen. Auto-tags sync in real time too, but only for tags added after auto-tagging is on.
How to set up the LearnWorlds and Moosend integration
Setup takes a Moosend API key and a few minutes in your LearnWorlds settings. You need a paid Moosend account. At the end, users and leads sync in real time.
1. Create your Moosend lists
Log in to Moosend and create separate lists for registered users and leads. Requires: a paid Moosend account.
2. Copy your Moosend API key
In Moosend, open Settings > API key and copy the key.
3. Activate Moosend in LearnWorlds
Open Settings > Integrations > Email integrations. Select the Moosend tab, check Activate, and paste your API key.
4. Connect your Moosend account
Click Connect to Moosend. Add text custom fields to your Moosend lists if you want more data to sync.
5. Pick lists and auto-tags
Select the lists for users and leads, then choose your auto-tagging actions. Click Save to apply your changes.
6. Sync your existing contacts
Click Sync your contacts with Moosend. Repeat it only after adding custom fields. For the full setup guide, see the Moosend help article.
