Multiple Languages

Translate your academy pages with the Weglot LMS integration

Translate school pages, payment pages, and learning activity titles into the languages your learners speak. The Weglot LMS integration adds a language switcher to your school.

A LearnWorlds school page shown in several languages through the Weglot language switcher

TL;DR

The Weglot integration translates your LearnWorlds school automatically, so learners browse in their own language. You stop maintaining a copy of every page for each language.

Stop rebuilding pages per language. Weglot translates your school when visitors pick one

Skip a separate school per language. One school serves every language you add

Reach right-to-left readers. Arabic learners get proper alignment without a new layout

Best for: Course creators and corporate training teams who teach learners in more than one language.

Available on all paid plans. Requires a paid Weglot subscription.

What you can do with Weglot and LearnWorlds

Edit translations pair by pair

Open your project in Weglot, pick a language, and edit or delete translation pairs. Automatic translation is your starting point, not your final copy.

Exclude text and pages

Keep specific text blocks or whole pages in the original language by excluding them in Weglot.

Translate the course player

Learning activity titles in the course player follow the learner’s chosen language. Course Catalog search also works in the selected language.

Style the language switcher

Change the switcher’s position and style from your Weglot profile so it fits your school’s design.

How LearnWorlds and Weglot integrate

See what happens on your school once Weglot is connected. Automatic rows need no further action, while conditional rows depend on a setting or visitor choice first.

How to set up the LearnWorlds and Weglot integration

Setup takes six steps across Weglot and LearnWorlds. You need a paid Weglot subscription. At the end, visitors can switch your school’s language.

1. Create your Weglot account

Sign up at Weglot or sign in. New accounts validate their email address first. Requires: a paid Weglot subscription.

2. Create a Weglot project

Name your project and choose LearnWorlds as the website technology. Click Next.

3. Choose your languages

Pick your original language and the languages to translate into, then click Next. Set your LearnWorlds Site language before this and don’t change it later.

4. Copy your API key

Copy the API key from your new Weglot project.

5. Activate Weglot in LearnWorlds

Open Settings > Integrations > Multiple languages and click Activate. Paste the API key and click Save.

6. Finish setup on your school

Visit your school while logged out and select one of your languages. Weglot then completes the integration. For the full setup guide, see the Weglot help article.

Course creators selling to international buyers

Buyers switch language before checkout and pay on translated pages inside your school. You skip running a separate school for each language.

Educators teaching in right-to-left languages

Learners who choose Arabic get proper right-to-left alignment. You offer the language without rebuilding page layouts.
