Pix as a new payment method: give Brazilian customers more ways to buy

More than 170 million individuals, around 80% of Brazil’s population, have used Pix. In May 2026 alone, the system processed more than 7 billion transactions with a total value above R$3 trillion, according to Banco Central do Brasil.

Its use continues to grow. Pix accounted for 54.7% of the payment transactions tracked by the Central Bank during the second half of 2025, reaching 42.9 billion transactions in six months. That was a 24.3% increase compared with the same period in 2024.

There is no need to enter card details. The customer approves the transaction in their banking app and receives confirmation when the payment is complete.
