Apply an action-specific tag in Kit when a user enrolls, completes a course, or is awarded a certificate. Anyone who has purchased at least one course also gets the lw-paying-customer tag.
Update Kit forms
Click Update forms to bring the latest Kit audience changes into LearnWorlds. Click Sync your contacts with Kit whenever you pick a new audience.

What teams ask before connecting
Does this sync both ways, or does data only flow one direction?
Learner data moves from LearnWorlds to Kit: users, leads, custom field values, and tags. The Update forms button also refreshes your Kit audience choices inside LearnWorlds.
Which actions trigger tags in Kit: enrollment, completion, or purchase?
All three. Auto-tagging applies a tag when a user enrolls in a product or completes a course, and the lw-paying-customer tag marks anyone who has purchased a course. Previewing a free section and earning a certificate also add tags. Tags sync only once auto-tagging is on.
Is this native or does it require a third-party tool like Zapier?
It’s a built-in connection. You activate Kit in Settings > Integrations > Email integrations, paste your Kit API key and API Secret, and click Connect to Kit. The setup steps don’t involve Zapier.
How to set up the LearnWorlds and Kit integration
You need a Kit account with your audience created through forms. At the end, your users and leads sync to the lists you pick.
1. Create your Kit audience
Log in to Kit or sign up, then create your audience through forms. Requires: a Kit account.
2. Open email integrations
In LearnWorlds, open Settings > Integrations > Email integrations. Click the Kit tab and check the Activate box.
3. Copy your Kit API credentials
In Kit, open your Profile icon > Account Settings > Advanced. Copy the API key, then click Show to copy the API Secret.
4. Connect Kit
Paste the API key and API Secret into the matching Kit fields in LearnWorlds, then click Connect to Kit.
5. Select your lists
Choose the Kit list for registered users and the list for leads. Click Save to apply your changes.
6. Sync your contacts
Click Sync your contacts with Kit. You need this the first time, and again if you add custom fields or select a new audience. For the full setup guide, see the Kit help article.
