Introducing Thank You Pages & the LearnWorlds Assistant

Most expert marketers agree that the most important words you will ever say to your customers are “Thank You”! In fact you should try saying Thank You more, to everyone and every day. Trust me on this:)

Thank You can be an incredibly powerful pair of words. They immediately generate feelings of warmth, loyalty and appreciation. Use them often, use them wisely. Especially, use them right after you’ve acquired a new customer, when most probably the person you’re thanking isn’t expecting them.

What is a Thank You page and How will it help me?

A Thank You page is the page your learners will see immediately after purchasing one of your courses or subscriptions.

It’s the final stage in your conversion funnel and it can be the starting point of a meaningful and trusting relationship with your newly acquired customer.

With the Thank You Page we help you:

• Thank the customer for purchasing a course or subscription. How about some nice text or even a warm welcome video?
• Make the new course or subscription easily accessible. Some quick instructions, a nice prominent button (Call to Action) and the learner is good to go!
• Provide instructions on what happens next. How about adding a short video explaining what they have to do? Or including a questionnaire the learners need to complete before starting the course?
• Direct learners to other parts of your school or even your website. How about a link to the Community or their Account, where they can find their invoice?
• Upsell by providing explicit course discount offers with coupons. That’s the icing on the cake: offer a generous discount and convert your users to Repeat Customers. That’s the holy grail of e-commerce, right here.

In the Thank You page, the LearnWorlds Assistant has two great suggestions for you:

• A template you can use to Upsell a course (or other product, such as a Subscription or Bundle). When you use this template in a Thank You page the user can make the new purchase on the spot: he/she doesn’t have to pass again through the funnel or provide any other details.
• A template you can use to suggest other relevant courses that the new customer might want to purchase. You can choose which courses will be promoted here, either picking whole categories (such as your most popular courses) or handpicking the ones you see more fitting. In any case the template is smart enough to never promote a course to a user who already has access to it. Our Link Manager will even help you choose a coupon to apply to the course(s) so that the user is spared from doing this manually. One less step for the user, is one step closer for your next course sale!

Don’t underestimate the LearnWorlds Assistant just because you only get to see it here. You will soon start seeing the Assistant pop up in more and more places thoughout the school, right when you need him the most.

Just a couple of things to keep in mind about this new feature

• We don’t change anything in the way your existing school works. So unless you explicitly set up a Thank You Page for your courses, things will remain as is and your new customers will get the usual pop up thank you message.
• When you are done customizing the Thank You page of your school you can go ahead and associate it with any or all courses in your school (The article above is very detailed so I don’t expect you will have any problems. If you get stuck we will be there to help)
• Thank You pages are not available in the Starter plan.
• Customers of our Pro Trainer plan will be able to create one single Thank You page and use it across all their courses, bundles and subscriptions.
• Customers of our Learning Center plan will be able to create as many Thank You Pages as they like and make unique combinations of messages and upsell offers. For every course or subscription you can create a special Thank You page and offer a unique Upsell offer, coupon or message. That’s powerful stuff and I am certain we will again be blown away by the resourcefulness and creativity you will employ when using this feature.
